Board of Directors
Jay Davidson joined the DEDC Board of Directors in 2010 and is the current vice president. He has also served on the Decatur City Council for more than six years, chairman of the Civic Center Advisory Board, and chairman of the Board of Directors for the Texoma Area Paratransit System (TAPS.) Davidson is owner and president of oil and gas consulting firm JMD Consulting.
Martin Woodruff joined the DEDC Board of Directors in 2001 and currently serves as secretary/treasurer. He has also served on the Decatur City Council since 2005 and is the current Mayor of Decatur. He is a 30-plus-year member and past president of the Decatur Chamber of Commerce. Woodruff is active in the United Way of Wise County, where he has served as executive director since 2002 and is a past president of the board of directors. He is a former U. S. Army commissioned officer and worked in management positions for more than 20 years with Poco Graphite, Inc., Decatur’s largest manufacturing company. He is currently self-employed as a management consultant and manages commercial rental properties in the Decatur Main Street District.
Jason Wren joined the DEDC Board of Directors in 2012 and currently serves as President. He also served on the Decatur City Council, is a member and elder at CrossRoads Church, and serves as president of the board of directors for Acts 4 Others, a local, faith-based nonprofit organization. Wren previously served on the Decatur Education Foundation Board of Directors, the Wise Regional Health Foundation Board of Directors, and as president of the Decatur Lions Club. He is the general counsel for both Wise Regional Health System and Wise County Regional Health System.
Matt Joiner was named to the DEDC Board of Directors in 2014. He also serves on the Wise Regional Health System Foundation and the Decatur Education Foundation boards of directors. Joiner is a founding board member of a faith-based nonprofit organization called Acts 4 Others, and is active with the Decatur Lions Club. Joiner holds a doctorate degree in higher education administration and is employed by Weatherford College as the associate dean for the school’s Wise County campus.
Randy Bowker joined the DEDC Board of Directors in 2015. Since 2011, he has served on the Decatur City Council, currently acting as the Deputy Mayor Pro Tem and Airport Liaison. He is an active member of the Decatur Chamber of Commerce as well as the Decatur Lions Club, for which he was past President. Bowker is a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones in Decatur and is both a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
