Decatur Wins Volleyball Title

Hitting .340, the Decatur Lady Eagles’ attack overwhelmed Wimberley Saturday, 25-13, 25-12, 25-19, in the 4A final to capture the volleyball program’s fourth state title. Jentry Lamirand buried 14 kills, earning the finals MVP. Setter Bayli Miller handed out 35 assists. Lamirand and Miller were joined on the 4A all-state final team by libero Tayte Helton and outside hitters Kaylee Peterson and Trinity Vinzant. Great job ladies!
